It’s not WHAT you teach, it’s HOW you teach.Dance schools (included Swing Zing) usually run in house training sessions to level up their instructors and ensure consistency across all the classes.
This is different.
We will not be telling you what you have to teach. This focus is on the how.
That means this session has been opened to everyone. Anyone that would like to learn how to teach Swing Dancing (or any other movement based skill for that matter) new instructors, experienced teachers, or even if you don’t teach yet but want to teach in the future, you are all welcome to join in this workshop.
The topics being covered include Stages of Skill Acquisition, Lesson structure, Choosing Developmental or Corrective Progressions, Teaching Styles, Effective presentation and much more.
About the instructor:
Jethro started teaching at 16 years old. He is a qualified snowboard instructor, has a decade of experience teaching numerous circus arts, not to mention he’s done a few years teaching and running a swing dance school.

Three hours of professional development focused on teaching skills, concepts, tips and tricks, a 28 page instructors manual, and a Lindy Hop class resources document, moves, drills, games and class ideas.
