About this Event

Join Friendzy at Carruth Cellars in Liberty Station for an interactive wine tasting designed specifically for people in their 50s & 60s who are looking to expand their social circle.

You'll be placed into a small group, receive a pre-selected flight of five wines, and work together to figure out which tasting notes belong to each wine.

Is that blackberry you're tasting... or are you completely making it up? And what exactly is a “hint of leather,” anyway?

You don't need to know anything about wine. In fact, that's part of the fun.

The tasting game gives everyone something to talk about from the moment you sit down. So instead of walking into a room full of strangers and wondering what you're supposed to say, you'll already have a shared activity to jump into.

And yes: coming solo is completely normal and encouraged!

HOW DOES THE INTERACTIVE TASTING WORK?

Each group will receive a flight of five wines along with a set of tasting notes, but we won't tell you which notes belong to which wine. That's your job.

Taste, compare, debate with your teammates and see if your group can correctly match each wine to its tasting profile.

There are no wine experts required and no pressure to get everything right. The challenge is simply a fun way to break the ice, get everyone talking and experience the wines together.

This one's important!

Friendzy is not a drop-in networking event. The interactive tasting is a structured group experience, and we need everyone seated before we can begin.

Please plan for parking, walking and check-in time so you're ready to start at the scheduled event time.

Late arrivals may miss part of the tasting experience and can be difficult to accommodate once the activity has begun. Thank you in advance for helping us start on time!

REFUND POLICY

Because space is limited and your wine tasting is reserved in advance, refunds are not available within 72 hours of the event. If Friendzy must cancel the event, registered attendees will receive a refund in accordance with the ticketing platform's policies.

WAIVER

All attendees are required to complete the Friendzy participation waiver before attending. The waiver and final event logistics will be emailed to registered attendees before the event.
