Friends of the Lost Coast present SYRCL’s Wild & Scenic Film Festival for its return to the Arcata Theatre Lounge on Sunday, November 8th! Experience the best in outdoor adventure and environmental filmmaking for this exclusive Humboldt County presentation. Join us for a spectacular evening filled with a custom collection of 10 independent short films covering the global gamut from environmental justice, conservation and tribal stewardship to outdoor adventure and beyond, plus live music with Bandemonium, a silent auction, and tasty food/drink from the ATL menu- all while supporting our education and stewardship programs of Friends of the Lost Coast!
This year's screening will showcase: A Little Story About Forever, Guardians of the Earth, The Leap Beneath, Maine’s Seaweed Moment, Forgotten Flavors, Valley Under Fire, Inaccessible, Native to the Klamath, Heritage and Harvest: Quinault Razor Clams, and Walking the Fringe. Doors open at 6PM with films at 7PM. Tickets are available now, with in-person and view-on-demand options available.
