Friends of the Farmstead Celebrates 15 Years

Heritage Farmstead Museum will celebrate the 15th anniversary of Friends of the Farmstead on Saturday, October 17, from 6 to 10 p.m. The milestone event brings the community together to celebrate the stories, people and experiences that make the Farmstead special while supporting its future.

Guests can enjoy specialty cocktails and craft beers, an authentic True Texas BBQ dinner, Chicken Poop Bingo, games and prizes, and live and silent auctions. The evening will also include live music and dancing with Jay-B & the Zydeco Posse.

This year’s event will recognize Jennifer and Luke Shertzer as the 2026 Best Friends of the Farmstead for their dedication and generosity to Heritage Farmstead Museum.

Cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m., followed by dinner, a tribute to the honorees, and the live auction at 7 p.m. Jay-B & the Zydeco Posse will perform from 8 to 10 p.m. Tickets start at $125. Reserve your seat before they’re gone.
