The Oakwood Community Center will be having The Annual Friends of Smith Gardens "Perennial Sale" on Friday, April 17th and Saturday, April 18th at the Oakwood Community Center, 105 Patterson Road, in Oakwood. The sale will be held from 3:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Friday, April 17th and from 9:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 18th.Gardeners of all experience levels will find a wide selection of high-quality plants, including perennials, herbs, everlastings, ornamental grasses, wildflowers, hostas, ferns, daylilies, native plants, annuals, and hanging baskets. A complete plant list will be available beginning Monday, March 30, 2026. The list can be viewed online or picked up in person at the Oakwood Community Center, located at 105 Patterson Road. This early access allows shoppers to plan their purchases in advance. For questions or additional information, please contact the Oakwood Community Center at 937-298-0775.
DOOR PRIZES WILL BE DRAWN AT THE SALE!!!
Shoppers who make a purchase may enter a drawing for a chance to win a variety of door prizes generously donated by Oakwood local businesses and Dayton-area landscaping and maintenance companies.

There will be a free Garden Workshop offered to kids on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 10:00-11:30AM at the Oakwood Community Center Teen Center. So, parents, bring your kids to enjoy a fun garden workshop while you shop around for some great plants and flowers for your yard.
