📍 Outlook Reserve, Greenhithe
🗓 Second Saturday of each month
🕐 9:00am – 11:00am (summer sessions!)
Outlook Reserve is a hidden gem in Greenhithe, home to a small stream and a potential WF7 ecosystem, supporting the regeneration of Pūriri forest. The area is prone to mild flooding if not maintained, making ongoing restoration vital for both habitat and waterway health.
Join us as we work together to restore this forest gully! 🌱 This is a hands-on opportunity to:
✅ Learn about common pest plants and how to manage them
✅ Get involved in native planting
✅ Support local biodiversity through pest plant and animal control
Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or new to conservation, everyone is welcome! We have tools.
🧤 What to bring:
Sturdy shoes or boots
Gloves (if you have them)
