We’ve partnered with Botany Library to bring a monthly, in-person help desk right into the heart of the community.
Join us every third Sunday of the month for a relaxed drop-in session where you can chat with our team, get advice, and take practical steps to support nature in your own backyard.
Whether you’re dealing with tricky pest plants, curious about pest animals, or just want to know where to start—we’re here to help.
What you can do on the day:
• Ask questions about pest plants and weeds
• Get advice on pest animal control
• Learn simple ways to support native biodiversity
• Pick up a FREE rat trap (for Howick Ward residents) and get a quick demo on how to use it safely and effectively 🐀
No bookings needed—just drop in, have a kōrero, and take away something useful.
