Friday Night Dance is a fun, deep and inclusive committed group series blending the subtle pleasures of somatic movement with the freedom of improvisation and music. This space invites exploration, connection, and a deepening relationship with movement.
All returning and new dancers are welcome. We are a supportive, all-gender adult group — we dance, rest, and play with varying soundscapes and light facilitation. While movement is at the heart of our practice, there are occasional moments of guided reflection or verbal sharing to support integration.
We are lucky to have the foundation of over a decade of Friday Night Dance in Totnes! And while that brings support of long-standing dancers, this is truly a space where everyone is welcome - new-to-dance, returning-to-dance, or seasoned dancers..
