Friday Night Dance Series- Ballroom

This ballroom dance limited series will include group instruction led by professional dancers and competitive ballroom dancers Kailie Sanders and David Detweiler, guiding participants through fundamental ballroom steps and movement technique. The class is designed to be accessible to all experience levels, including absolute beginners, while remaining dynamic and enjoyable for experienced movers, with a focus on ballroom technique, posture and frame, lead and follow-technique, and partner work. No partner is required, as when working with a partner, rotation is encouraged throughout the class. This series will provide an engaging and inclusive introduction to ballroom dance with study in American Rhythm, International Latin, or American Smooth syllabi which may include swing, salsa, cha-cha, rumba, waltz, foxtrot, or tango.
