Friday Night Comedy starring Clarence Nixon
About this Event
Come see some of the DMV's hottest comedians in the awesome water-front setting of The Electric Palm!
Your Headliner Clarence Nixon:
Clarence is a rising Comedian from Washington, DC. He’s a example of what happens when an introvert gets on the stage, and brings you to his world…on the scenic route.
Meet your HOST, David McOwen:
Dave is a professional museum nerd, DC-based comedian, and retired Air Force flight medic who has performed at the DC Improv and at comic/sci-fi conventions across the country. You can find him at davemcowencomedy.com.
Featuring Jamie Mack:
Jamie performs comedy in and around Washington and Baltimore after a long career as a DC reporter and a late in life reinvention that is a big part of Jamie’s onstage performance. Jamie also performs spoken word poetry and wrote a play that was produced and staged in Baltimore in 2024.
Special Guest Janetta LaShelle:
Janetta is a DC area stand-up comedian who tells sharp, personal stories about Black family life, work, and trying to become a better human without losing her mind. She performs regularly around the DC/Maryland/Virginia area and brings a smart, self-deprecating style that mixes storytelling, social observation, and just enough chaos to keep audiences leaning in.
