Friday Nature Walks Spring 2 2026

FRCS programs are offered to SOUTHINGTON RESIDENTS ONLY

You must request a ticket for each child that will be participating, including infants. (You do not need to include adults.) When registering please include parent name and child(ren’s) name. Ex: 2 tickets Parents first name (Child 1 & Child 2 names) last name

1 adult may attend per registered child

Grab your rainboots, spring jackets, and energy as we continue to explore the outdoors! Let’s get together to meet old and new friends while we observe all the changes nature shows us during the season of Spring! Load up the strollers and wagons, get some fresh air, exercise, and have an age-appropriate scavenger hunt with your little ones! We will meet at the beginning of the Rails to Trails path on Mill Street (next to the dog park) and go on an adventure!

Other Information:

· Please check your email prior to EACH class.

· Notifications will be sent through Eventbrite email around 10:30 am if our walk is cancelled. Classes are weather permitting.

· There must be at least 5 families registered to run this program.

· The FRCS will provide the scavenger hunt check list, but we ask that you bring your own writing utensils such as: markers, crayons, pencils, and a bag to collect nature items.

Fridays: 11:00am-12:00pm
