Friday Lates: Launch of Art + Neurodiversity Commission

Join us for the launch of the new UCC Art Collection commission by artist Seiko Hayase.
Emotion Kinship – Spiral and Emotion Kinship – Bloom are reflections on the lives of neurodivergent students and staff of University College Cork and their experiences on campus. Their responses emerged from the Glucksman’s Art + Neurodiversity project in 2026 which saw participants engaged in creative activities including collage, clay, textured drawing and creative writing both in person and online. These activities and responses helped provide the inspiration for the aesthetic of the commissioned works.
