Welcome to the Fresh Idea Exchange (FIX), a focused learning and networking experience for women entrepreneurs to share ideas, ask honest questions, and learn from the lived experience of other local business owners.
We're excited to announce that our September FIX meet-up will take place at Revel Cafe in downtown Stratford.
Co-owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Colin and Stephanie Schmidt, Revel is a vibrant, artisanal coffee shop in the heart of the city at 37 Market Place across from City Hall.
Revel's ethically sourced, direct-trade coffee and scratch-made baked goods using local ingredients from Perth County make Revel one of the most popular gathering spots in the area.
This event includes one free beverage and one delicious baked good (gluten-free options available).
PLUS special guest Virginia Ehrlich of Acre75 will share a recent business challenge she's faced, and how she overcame it.
How does a Fresh Idea Exchange (FIX) work?
Guided by FIX Facilitator and Fresh Idea Collective founder Kerry Ramsay, we’ll get to know each other while working around business roadblocks and sharing fresh ideas with one another.
FIX is based on the concept that everyone has something valuable to contribute to the conversation. Whether it's a challenge you’ve faced and overcome, a question you've answered for your own business, or a strategy that's working for you currently, your input will help shape the experience for everyone in the room.

Meet Your Fresh Idea Exchange (FIX) Facilitator:
Kerry Ramsay is the founder of the Fresh Idea Collective, a community that supports professional and entrepreneurial women in the Stratford area and beyond through in-person events, online programs, and one-on-one coaching. Her work focuses on helping women build meaningful connections, strengthen their leadership voice, and grow businesses that reflect their values.
With over a decade of experience leading her own business, Kerry is passionate about helping women become more visible and valued in their industries. She believes that when women share their knowledge, support one another, and step confidently into leadership, they create a ripple effect that strengthens businesses, communities, and local economies.
