Every month, we host our Fresh Food, Families & Finance event series at different locations around our 11-county service area in Southeast Tennessee.
Here are the details about this incredible FREE program for you and your child!
🍎 WHAT: Youth farmers market, financial literacy class and a healthy snack
🏠 WHERE: Location details given upon registration
📆 WHEN: You can attend up to 3 events in this series...
April 11th: Sequatchie County
May 16th: Hamilton County
June 27th: McMinn County
July 18th: Hamilton County
August 22nd: Marion County
September 12th: Hamilton County
October 17th: Polk County
🧑🧒 WHO: You and your child (must be age 7-17)
🥬 HOW: Your child is included in all the fun and learning! They will receive play "money" to "buy" food from the farmers market. You'll leave with 30+ pounds of food from local farmers and makers like meat, eggs, vegetables, fruit, honey and bread. It's a great bonding experience for you and your child to learn and shop together!
⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: Pre-screening is required for this event -- you must live in Tennessee and meet income requirements to participate.
