Learn about classic French recipes and about life in France from foreign exchange student Mano, who is here in Ely, Minnesota temporarily. During the class, students will learn how to make classic French dishes: crepes and french toast (and time permitting, madeleines!)
In addition to the cooking demonstration, which students will be able to sample, students will learn from Mano about her experience growing up in France through stories about her school, family and friends, and culture. Join this breakfast specific session to learn about some go-to morning French recipes and ask Mano any questions you'd like about France, French food, and her exchange experience so far. Please consider joining for the lunch and dinner sessions as well!
Mano will be teaching this series of three cooking classes focused on French breakfast, lunch, and dinner in order to earn some money to help fund her trip to Washington, D.C, with the other Ely High School seniors.
