About this Event
Have you been affected by the recent hard freeze and are wondering what to do next?
Come join us at UF/IFAS Extension - Brevard County on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM (Eastern Time) for a fun and informative event! This workshop will be held in the Brevard Discovery Garden, an educational garden on our property, so bring whatever you need to be outside for a walking workshop. Please wear closed-toed shoes and feel free to bring a chair, a hat, a jacket (if it's cold), plenty of water, and a note pad for notes, because there will be a lot of information!
Brevard County Urban Horticulture agent, Sally Scalera, will share tips on how to care for your garden, plants, lawn, and trees after the freeze, right plant, right place, pruning, and so much more.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with fellow gardening enthusiasts and enhance your gardening skills!
NOTE: Classes and events may be canceled at any time due to low registration or other circumstances, with full refunds issued for paid events. Similar classes or events are often offered on future dates.
The University of Florida is committed to providing universal access to all of our events. For disability accommodations such as sign language interpreters and listening devices, please contact the UF/IFAS Brevard County Extension Office at [email protected] or (321) 633-1702 at least 2 weeks in advance. Advance notice is necessary to arrange for some accessibility needs.
