About this Event
This workshop is for young adults with disability (must be 18+) who want to learn horticulture skills to be successful in the workplace.
Please join the waitlist for more information! You will receive a phone call from our office to discuss the program in more detail and verify it will be a good fit.
Program information:
- 10-week course: Every Friday starting September 5, 2025, 9:30- Noon.
- Classroom + Hands-On Training: Gain both theoretical and practical skills.
- In person: At the UF/ IFAS Brevard County Extension 3695 Lake Dr. Cocoa, FL 32926.
**This program is best suited for young adults with disabilities exploring career paths who are ready to build hands-on skills for future employment in agriculture. Participants should be comfortable with group activities, outdoor tasks, and following multi-step directions.
