Hike (a total) of 5 miles from South Orange to South Mountain Reservation with a 2-mile loop in the woods and back to South Orange.
We are celebrating 15 years of walking! Following the hike we will PARTY!
The hike is FREE, however if you would like to join us for the party there is a separate $25 required registration here: Eventbrite .
Enjoy a variety of appetizers (vegetarian and vegan included) beer, wine and much more.. and our fun slide show with photos of hundreds of our walks. Celebrate with us where it all began and meet our founder Paul Kiczek! We will have guests from the East Coast Greenway Alliance and Mike and Anne Kruimer as well.

Start and Finish: Baird Center, South Orange, NJ
Distance: 5 miles.
Where to find us: Lobby of Baird Center and bathooms available as you arrive.
Terrain: Sidewalks and trails.
Transit: Midtown Direct train leaves NY Penn to South Orange at 12:11 pm and arrives at 12:48 pm and then it is a short walk to the Baird Center.
Parking: Free Parking at the Baird.
Difficulty : Somewhat brisk pace and steep uphill walk from the town to the reservation, then wooded trails.
