Monday 12th October - Sunday 18th October 2026 marks Anti-Slavery Week, raising awareness of the need to eradicate all forms of exploitation. This year, TRIBE Freedom Foundation and Justice & Care are joining forces in the fight to end modern slavery, launching the inaugural Freedom Walk - and we'd love for you to join us.
On Thursday 15th October, individuals and companies will come together in central London to raise awareness and vital funds to support survivors and help put an end to human trafficking.
Starting at the Houses of Parliament and finishing 13,000 steps later at the Jamaica Wine House, the route represents the 130,000 people estimated to be living in modern slavery across the UK today. Along the way, participants will stop at carefully selected locations, each with cultural significance and links to modern slavery and human trafficking.

The Cause
There are an estimated 50 million victims of slavery globally and 130,000 people living in the slavery in the UK. That’s over two victims for every thousand people in the country. 1 in 3 are children. This needs to stop.
Take Willow*, a British teenager who was plied with drugs and transported around different UK counties to be raped. Ruby*, who was forced into prostitution and then ostracised by her community in Bangladesh when she returned home. Or Alexandru*, who was targeted by a trafficking network in Romania and forced into labour exploitation at a McDonald’s in Cambridgeshire for four years. These accounts are not unique. In the last year alone, Justice & Care has removed 177 victims from exploitation, directly supported 2,759 survivors and 445 investigations, with 282 years of Pr*son sentences secured.
This October, we walk 13,000 steps for the 130,000 victims of modern slavery, fighting for their freedom.
We are asking each individual to aim to raise at least £100, with a shared goal to raise £10,000. All funds will go towards Justice & Care as they continue their work and advocacy to support survivors of human trafficking and modern slavery across the UK and Bangladesh.
