Session 3: Primary and Secondary Art & Design - The Art of Using Sketch Books

Explore different ways of using sketch book to explore drawing skills and develop ideas
Bring & Share example sketch books with other colleagues
Join in a range of practical drawing and sketch book activities led by artist Cai Arfon Bellis
£15 Lewisham/£20 non Lewisham teachers per head to cover artist’ s & materials cost
Cai Arfon Bellis is a Lewisham based artist who has been part of LEAN's Army of Creatives Project and currently works with The Royal Drawing School and is planning an outreach drawing project with Lewisham schools in the Autumn.
Audience
Non-specialist primary teachers/support staff wanting to build A&D skills; A&D leads wanting to explore/share artist practice/ use of sketch books
Network meetings organised by Lewisham Education Arts Network as part of Lewisham’s Cultural Education Partnership
A small fee is charged to cover artist's fees and materials costs
