In this "Free Your Voice" Event we will get together and share our voices collectively in a circle, letting us and our voices be carried by the moment without any restrictions and judgements about what wants to be expresses though ourselves, our voices, individually and collectively as a group.
It doesn't matter if you have never sung before, you are singing occasionally or if you are even a professional. Every voice is welcome! Every voice has its place in this circle. The intention is to build connection through sharing our voices collectively, transcend our own story and expand into the now. Let your voice surprise you!
Since there is rarely enough space to express our voices freely in modern society, many people feel blocked and shy away when it is about showing ourselves and our voices. This temporary space is intended to give you the permission to explore and express your voice freely carried by the group in a save container, where you can allow yourself to be who you are and bring it into the world.

Program:
- warm-up exercises for body and voice to tune in with ourselves, the group and arrive in the moment
- after that we begin our jam with toning and then let ourselves be taken by the collective sound of our voices with no expectations to the outcome, only the moment will guide us on this explorative journey
- closing circle: sharing and integration

About the facilitator:
Bodo has been on his own self-discovery journey for more than 16 years now, Bodo heard the call of his own voice several years ago and attended an Overtone Singing workshop in Berlin in 2018. Since then he has been exploring his voice in different contexts and could see the transformational power the liberation of the individual voice facilitates, especially when we come together in group settings. Besides that he is experienced in different spiritual fields utilizing modalities, wisdom & practical tools from Taoism, Shamanism, Breath & Energy Work, Yoga & Sound Healing empowering people on their journeys towards natural self-resonance.
What does improvisation mean to me?
An improvisation is a meditation, it means tapping into the now, the moment where time and space cease to exist and you just merge completely with whatever activity you have engaged with, may it be dancing, singing, painting... The mind is switched off and all you do is to allow whatever wants to express itself through you to be expressed. It is a little bit like surfing, the wave is already there, you don't need to create it, you just need to ride it.
