Free Women's Rugby Beginners Course

Shrewsbury Women’s Rugby are offering a new beginners’ rugby course – guiding you from your first ever training session to your debut match!
In a friendly, nurturing environment, learn to run, pass, kick, tackle and scrum as part of a group of beginners starting their rugby journey together, guided by our qualified coaches.

Training will take place on Wednesday evenings 6-7:30 from the 15th of July and, on completion of the course, you will be invited to progress to our Women’s first team or become a social member, but there is no obligation.
Absolutely no experience is necessary and all fitness levels and abilities are welcome. Experienced players, or those looking for more of a challenge, are encouraged to join first team pre-season training from 7pm. Junior girls' training is also available.
No specialised equipment required, just:
- Sports wear
- Trainers (or football/rugby boots if you already have them)
- Towel
- Change of clothes for wet weather
- Water bottle
