It’s a big night of Comedy and a room full of SINGLE people, where else would you find this in Shropshire?!
We’ve got brilliant comedians, ways to get everyone talking, and time to mingle before, during, and after the show. You can come on your own or with friends - as long as you are single!
🎤 Who’s making you laugh:
Headliner – Brendan Dempsey: As seen in Father Ted, Brendan has been in 2 BAFTA winning TV shows and has even appeared in Hollywood movies, including Gangs of New York. For Radio 4 listeners, Brendan Dempsey is synonymous with the endearing Mr. Mullaney, a character he masterfully portrayed across four seasons of Miles Jupp's Comedy "In and Out of the Kitchen".
MC – Dave Chawner: Number 1 best-selling author, award-winning comedian, and Ongoing Comedian of the Year at the Edinburgh Fringe 2023. He’s taken multiple hit shows on tour, been a stand-in for Mock The Week and Taskmaster, and appeared on BBC Breakfast, Good Morning Britain, and Radio 4.
OPENER - Matt Stellingwerf: A fast-rising star on the international comedy scene, and highly regarded by his peers. He has won four NZ Comedy Guild Awards and been nominated for several others. He has toured extensively, performing throughout NZ, Australia, the USA, and the United Kingdom.
