Join us for a free guided maritime walk through Belfast’s historic Titanic Quarter, exploring the rich heritage that helped shape the city into one of the world’s great shipbuilding centres.
The walk will start at Robin’s Hobby Café, where participants will meet before setting out on a guided journey through the heart of Belfast’s maritime and industrial heritage. Led by a qualified Level 2 Tour Guide, participants will discover the fascinating stories behind Belfast’s maritime past, including the development of the famous shipyards, the construction of the legendary RMS Titanic, and the thousands of skilled workers who built ships that sailed across the globe.
Along the route, we will visit key locations connected to the shipbuilding industry, including the historic Drawing Offices, former shipyard areas, and other significant landmarks that played an important role in Belfast’s industrial and maritime history. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how Belfast became a world-leading centre of shipbuilding and maritime innovation.
The walk will finish back at Robin’s Hobby Café, where participants can relax and enjoy a friendly sketching session. From this unique location overlooking the yard, we will draw the iconic Belfast cranes, as well as other maritime and industrial features that reflect the area’s rich heritage.
