FREE TCTSY Workshop (Sept 2026)
About this Event
About This Workshop
A one-hour workshop that offers a supportive space to explore choice-based movement, breathing dynamics, and mindful presence, with guided practices you can integrate into everyday life and use to foster trauma sensitivity in yoga and wellness spaces.
While this workshop does not qualify participants to facilitate TCTSY, it will strengthen your trauma-informed approach and help you explore whether further training is right for you. It is also a great stepping stone toward the half-day seminar and the 20-hour Foundational Training, which is a prerequisite for the 300-hour Certification Program.
Advanced registration and signed waivers are required to participate.
This workshop qualifies for 1 continuing education (CE) hour with Yoga Alliance for Registered Yoga Teachers (RYTs).

About the Facilitator
Hello and welcome! I’m Pamela Sue (she/her), and I have been honored to support individuals in both the yoga and mental health fields since 2016.
During this time, I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Aurora University and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois. While in graduate school, I also completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training with Yoga by Degrees, and have since advanced to an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) with Yoga Alliance. I’m also a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), which allows me to offer training and continuing education for other yoga teachers.
In addition, I completed the 300-hour certification program in Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) through the Center for Trauma & Embodiment. I thoughtfully integrate this training into both my clinical therapy work and my yoga offerings, supporting a trauma-informed, body-first approach to healing.
