FREE Summer Camp Performance

In June, we have Theater Camp for children, ages 7 to 15, a summer experience that goes far beyond the ordinary. In partnership with New Ulm Park and Recreation, two youth theater camps are opening the curtain to imagination. The first is a two-week immersive musical theater camp, where participants collaborate to bring Disney’s The Aristocats for Kids to life. From the first rehearsal to the final bow, campers will learn what it truly means to be part of an ensemble.
The second camp is a one-week camp centered around an original play, “I Am Wanda Gág,” written by yours truly. This production introduces campers to the legacy of one of New Ulm’s most cherished artists and storytellers. This camp also includes a series of short puppet shows featuring beloved local characters like Gertie the Goose and Herbie the Hedgehog. It’s an experience that culminates in a live performance for family and friends. Join us for this free production on Friday, June 26th at 5 pm. Both camps encourage English language learners and campers on the spectrum to attend.
