Let your kid’s creativity and imagination run wild as BIMA transforms into a playground of possibility during our upcoming Family Day! The whole museum will be abuzz with art, activity, and adventure during this free event, curated for kids aged 1-15 and their loved ones. Whether they become an artist at our DIY stations or an explorer during Storytime, this joyful day will be one for everyone in the family to remember!SCHEDULE
All day | Plaza | Stars, Stripes, and Tie-Dye Spirals: A Commemorative 250th Anniversary Celebration with the Rotary Club of Bainbridge | A chance to make your own tie-dye masterpiece
11 AM – 2 PM | Classroom | Washi Wonder Workshop | Create a large-scale collaborative artwork, led by artist Melody Maleitzke, brought to you by Arts & Humanities Bainbridge Artist Grant
11 AM | Store | Storytime in the Store with author Lynn Brunelle
12 PM | BIMA | Dance party with DJ Spark
1 PM | Store | Storytime in the Store with author Lynn Brunelle
2 PM | BIMA | Dance party with DJ Spark
2 – 5 PM | Classroom | Spring Art Activities led by BIMA Learning & Engagement Programs Coordinator, Rebecca Lawler
