SIU Credit Union plans to host several Free Shredding events throughout 2024. These events allow individuals to bring up to 50 pounds of personal documents to be shredded on-site for free.
We'll be accepting donations of non-perishable food items to donate to one of our local food pantries.
We will continue to use the following protocol:
• All people bringing items to shred are asked to stay in their cars to keep traffic flowing smoothly.
Examples of items that can be brought for shredding:
• Credit Union / Bank Statements and Old Checks
• Medical & Insurance Forms
• Anything with your Social Security number on it
• Retired Tax Forms (over 3 years old)
• Credit Card Statements
