🐾 LOOKING TO IMPROVE YOUR DOG'S LEASH MANNERS AND SOCIALIZATION IN LAKEWOOD RANCH? 🐾
Join Devoted Canine Training every Saturday morning at 10:00 AM for our Free Community Park Pack Walk! This is a completely free, casual drop-in class open to dog owners of all experience levels.
Whether you have a young puppy learning the ropes, an energetic dog who forgets their manners around heavy distractions, or a pet that just needs a structured environment to practice staying calm and neutral around other animals, this pack walk is for you!
📍 WHERE WE MEET: Bob Gardner Community Park (2710 White Eagle Blvd). Meet by the main pavilion/trailhead entrance near the playground. Look for the trainer with the treat pouch!
⏰ WHEN: Every Saturday at 10:00 AM (Sharp!)
💵 COST: 100% FREE to the community.
WHAT WE PRACTICE:
✅ Loose leash walking on real-world community trails
✅ Building focus and engagement around park distractions (disc golf, runners, playground noise)
✅ Neutrality and calm behavior around other dogs and handlers
✅ Friendly community Q&A with a professional trainer
WHAT TO BRING:
• Your dog on a standard flat collar, martingale, or harness (No retractable leashes, please!)
• High-value training treats (hot dogs, cheese, or freeze-dried liver work wonders!)
• A short leash (keep your pups close and under control)
• Waste bags and water for your dog
⚠️ IMPORTANT RULES FOR SAFETY:
This is a structured training environment. Please give every dog and handler at least 6 to 8 feet of personal space. There will be NO nose-to-nose greetings or unstructured on-leash playing permitted during the walk to ensure a safe, stress-free zone for nervous, distracted, or reactive dogs. All friendly, leashed dogs are welcome!
