📣 Don't miss our free monthly QPR & Naloxone Trainings!Every first Thursday through the end of the year, our Prevention Team will be at CCAR Torrington, offering two vital trainings:
𝗤𝗣𝗥 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴
🕙 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Learn the three life-saving steps: Question, Persuade, and Refer. This nationally recognized, evidence-based training helps you recognize warning signs of suicide, offer hope, and connect someone to support. Participants receive a 3-year certification.
𝗡𝗮𝗹𝗼𝘅𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴
🕚 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Learn how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose using Naloxone. All attendees will receive a FREE Naloxone kit with two 4mg doses.
