Parent/Child introduction to a classic outdoor sport in a fun, safe, and engaging environment. Participants will learn the basics of fishing, including proper equipment use, safety practices, and fundamental techniques. Participants will cover casting, knot tying, fish identification, and conservation awareness. No prior experience is necessary-just a willingness to learn and have fun outdoors. Water safety components also included. Parent participation encouraged. Equipment provided by DNR grant funding.
