WindsorEats staff member, Jamie Greer, recently launched a book on the history of wrestling in Windsor. We're so proud of and excited for him, that we'll be hosting his next local book signing which will also be a VERY special affair as it's the Windsor premier screening of the 2022 documentary, Out In The Ring - The LGBTQ wrestling documentary.
It's a wonderful look at the history of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in pro wrestling, and Windsor's own Sandy Parker is one of the featured wrestlers in the history!
The screening will be held THURSDAY OCTOBER 17 and it will be a FREE SCREENING!
We'll be collecting donations for a local 2SLGBTQIA+ charity (to be announced shortly), but you are FREE to attend regardless! And it will all go down at the WindsorEats Food Hall at 400 Erie St. East in Via Italia!
Books will be on sale for the special sale price of only $40, where you can read more about Sandy Parker, as well as other 2SLGBTQIA+ icons like "The One and Only" Jaime D and Gisele Shaw!
