Got some clothing items that could use a little love? Bring them along and join us at the Mending Room, at ArtSpeak Gallery, 1942 Wyandotte St. E on Friday, September 20 between 6 and 9pm to tend to those split seams and worn knees. More a gathering than a class but we’ll be on hand to get you started. If you have basic sewing supplies and patching material, bring them but we will have plenty of supplies to share for the evening.There is no cost to attend, and you are welcome to bring a snack to share!
This event is part of The Mending Room, a weeklong exhibition and workshop series presented by asil and Levigator Press, fostering and promoting sustainable art and textile practice.
