At this workshop Marianne provides fresh perspective and actionable advice on topics that matter for today’s church organists.
• Lead Hymns, Inspire Worship: Tips for effective hymn playing and music leadership
• From Octavo to Organ: Tips and improvisation techniques for adding organ accompaniment to existing choral settings
• Organ Reading Session: Discovering new organ repertoire together
Perfect for church organists at all experience levels as well as music directors, ministers of music, and organ arrangers, don’t miss this all-new workshop.
When and where: 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 1, at Second Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis
Experience Elevated Organ Artistry Showcase
At 5:30 p.m. following the workshop, Marianne will present a 30-minute solo performance of organ compositions and arrangements, artfully played. This portion is free and open to the public, but please complete the form to register.
Join Dan Forrest, Craig Courtney and the Beckenhorst Singers on Sunday.
Come back on Sunday at 3 p.m. for the choir concert featuring new music for spring 2027. This ticket is purchased separately through the box office.
