Free Lunch & Learn: Understanding Diabetic Neuropathy
About this Event
Join us for a Lunch and Learn at Arnold Palmer Legends Country Club (1635 Palmer Way, The Villages) on Monday, July 13th at 12 PM to better understand the risks, recognize early warning signs, and explore practical steps to protect nerve health and improve overall well-being.
Diabetic neuropathy is one of the most prevalent and debilitating complications of diabetes. It commonly shows up as pain and loss of function, especially in the legs and feet.
This condition significantly increases the risk of issues with the feet: infection, falls, and amputation. Despite current management strategies, early detection is key. This highlights important opportunities for new and ongoing clinical research around this issue.
A brief presentation on the latest in clinical research will be given at the start of the event. Doors open 30 minutes (11:30 AM) prior to event start time.
Please note: Our community events are designed to welcome new guests. You’re always welcome at our movie events, which remain open to the entire Charter Research family!
