Free Iranian film screening: 'THERE IS NO EVIL'

We are both celebrating Nowrouz (Persian New Year) and reflecting on the dire situation in Iran with a screening of Mohammad Rasoulof's 'There Is No Evil' (2020) followed by a panel discussion with local Iranian activists and community organisers.

A banned film that left the director jailed in Iran, this Persian-language anthology drama (with English subtitles) follows four men morally and psychologically grappling with state-sanctioned M**der in arresting vignettes.

Door open at 6:30 pm and the film will begin at 7 pm (late arrivals welcome!). The panel discussion that follows the film hopes to raise more awareness on the state and the people who have long fought for liberation with heavy costs.
