Free Group X Fitness Classes (for Teachers)

As a special thank-you to the educators who help shape our community, the Lenexa Rec Center is offering free access to Group X fitness classes for all teachers during the first full week of school, Aug. 10–15, 2026.
Teachers simply need to show a valid school ID at the front desk to enjoy any Group X class on the schedule at no cost. From energizing cycle and strength training to calming yoga and dance-based workouts, there’s something for every fitness level and interest.
No advance registration is required. Just arrive early, bring your ID, check in at the front desk and find your favorite way to move.
