The Apothecary Wellness Collective at Hen House Market welcomes physician, professor, ethnobotanist and author Dr. Todd Pesek, MD for a one-of-a-kind dining experience centered on one of today’s biggest health and wellness conversations: protein.
Hosted between the produce department and newest Apothecary Wellness Collective at our Lenexa location, this coursed lunch explores three different sources of protein: plants, fish and grass-fed beef. Each course is inspired by Dr. Todd’s teachings and his food-first approach to healthy eating, longevity and using food as medicine.
Dr. Todd will guide guests through every course, sharing insights about the featured ingredients, their nutritional value and how they can support everyday wellness.
The afternoon will conclude with a sweet treat featuring ingredients selected with wellness in mind, followed by a guided tour of Hen House Market’s newest Apothecary Wellness Collective.
Dr. Todd is also visiting Kansas City to help us celebrate the opening of our newest Apothecary locations, introduce Nutritional Roots’ new Saffron + Ashwagandha supplement and share a preview of his forthcoming book, The Forest Knows Your Name.
This is a true grocery experience, from produce to plate, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
