Free flat-shoe tango practica with DJ Hanna at the Hillside Club

Come on out for a free tango practica at the Hillside Club! This is called the flat-shoe practica because the Hillside Club does not allow stiletto heels. Please wear flat dance shoes or dance shoes with low heels, such as character shoes or west-coast swing shoes. Socks are great too!

DJ Hanna plays a mix of golden age, nuevo, and alternative tandas!

This is a queer-friendly event where everyone is welcome to lead and follow. Role-switching is encouraged.

There is no dance class at this event, but beginners are welcome. Talk with someone you haven't met before, and ask questions! Everyone is free to ask anyone to dance. If someone asks you to dance, you are always free to say "yes" or "no."

Please bring your water bottles!
