Join us every Tuesday for Bachata Classes at Ashkenaz in Berkeley.

O ur focus is in Modern and traditional styles that will help you improve your social dance skills.

Beginner: 7pm-8pm

Intermediate: 8:30-9:30pm

- No partner necessary

Kathy Reyes has 15 years of professional experience, Teaching, performing and judging Latin Dance competitions in Local and international venues. Kathy began to acquire national attention after winning her first Bachata competition in Los Angeles in 2010, crowning herself as one of the top Bachata dancers in Los Angeles. Also choreographed a music video and worked as a backup dancer for various Latin artist such as Prince Royce, Sensato, Freddy Munoz, Sami Cultura, and JannyMarko.

Currently based at Ashkenaz in Berkeley Ca. Teaching weekly classes, Founder of KRD Company and former artistic director of Salsa at Cal.

Producer of monthly socials in the East Bay and founder of the women’s history month BELLA Dance Weekender in the Bay Area.

KRDance Teams in the Bay Area started in 2017, shortly after Kathy Reyes moved from LA. KRD has performed at various local events, dance festivals and private events. KRD has participated in a couple of competitions taking 2nd and 3rd place.
