Free Fatherhood Initiative Support Groups
About this Event
Join the City of Berkeley's Fatherhood Initiative Support Group, a free five-week series designed to bring fathers together to build community, strengthen parenting skills, and support one another in a welcoming, judgment-free environment.
Whether you're a new dad, experienced parent, grandfather, uncle, stepfather, or another important father figure, you'll find a space to connect with others who understand both the rewards and challenges of raising children.
Each weekly session features guided discussions, interactive activities, practical resources, and opportunities to build meaningful relationships with other fathers in the Berkeley community.
During this series, you'll:
- Connect with other fathers and father figures in Berkeley
- Share experiences in a supportive and welcoming environment
- Explore topics like parenting, healthy relationships, self-care, stress management, and emotional well-being
- Learn about local community resources and services
- Enjoy refreshments, lunch, giveaways, and participation incentives
Children are welcome to attend with their parent or caregiver.

Participants are encouraged to attend all five sessions to get the most from the program.
