Who doesn't need some good vibrations these days?Join Monica, with Bring Your Own Practice, for a sound bath featuring light guided breathwork to help the body settle in and relax, a summer solstice guided meditation, crystal singing bowls and koshi chimes. Crystal singing bowls are tuned to specific frequencies typically ranging from approximately 200 to over 1000 Hertz. They are used in sound healing, which is an alternative therapy that uses sound vibrations to promote physical and emotional well-being by stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for the body's relaxation response.
This initial BYOP Community Event is free of charge (donations accepted to support development of the Live Oak Community Wellness and Resiliency Center). The event will take place at Live Oak UU Church in the Common Ground building behind the church."
