Focus Fairies Mentoring is excited to host its Annual Community Peace Day. This year, we are partnering with Accilivus and Black Men United! And 3rd Alderman Pat Dowell will kick us off.

Join us as we come together to celebrate peace, unity, and the power of connection. This family-friendly event is designed for all ages and will feature:

While the day will be filled with fun and celebration, its purpose runs deeper. Community Peace Day is about creating space for hope, healing, and togetherness, reminding us all that a stronger, more peaceful future starts with community.

Our Executive Director, Dr. Darryca Brim-Mims, a proud Fuller Park native, has witnessed firsthand the impact of gun violence on girls and families in the community. This event is a reflection of that lived experience—and a commitment to creating safe, uplifting spaces where our youth and families can thrive.
