Fathers In Focus: A Free Father’s Day Photo Shoot & Unity Walk
“Please note: This is a father-centered photo shoot. Photos are intended for fathers with their children, grandchildren, or those they mentor. This is not a general family portrait session.”
All fathers and father figures are welcome — biological fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, mentors, coaches, pastors, uncles, foster fathers, spiritual fathers, grieving fathers, soon to be fathers, and men standing in the gap for children in need of guidance.

What to Expect
- Professional photos provided free of charge
- A citywide unity walk celebrating fatherhood
- Short, encouraging messages from guest speakers: Ashante Petaway, Deondré Rutues, and John Green
- Group and family photos
- Fellowship and refreshments at New Sound Café following the event
What to Wear
Men are encouraged to wear shades of blue and come dressed in their personal best. Fathers are welcome with or without children.
This is a free, multigenerational gathering open to men and families from across the city.
Photos will be available through participating photographers’ webpages for all guests who complete registration check in.

Event Purpose
Fathers In Focus is a multigenerational gathering designed to honor fathers, mentors, grandfathers, coaches, pastors, spiritual fathers, and men standing in the gap throughout Chicago.
This event combines prayer, encouragement, unity, presence, photography, fellowship, and a public expression of peace through a unity walk across Austin Park toward Austin Town Hall.
Expected Attendance: 250 to 300 men + Children/Parent
Photographers: 4 photographers covering the full event experience
