Free Community Hapé Ceremony
About this Event
This is a free community offering for those who feel called to sit with hapé in a supported, intentional space. It is an opportunity to receive the medicine without cost while being held in a safe container led by a practitioner in training, under the direct supervision of an experienced facilitator and their teacher.
Hapé is a traditional Amazonian tobacco preparation used in ceremonial settings for grounding, clarity, and energetic focus. In this space, it is offered with respect for its lineage and with attention to safety, consent, and presence.
Because this is a training environment, the ceremony also serves as a learning container. The practitioner in training is actively developing their skill, presence, and understanding of holding space. They are not facilitating alone. An experienced facilitator is present to guide, support, and step in as needed to ensure the integrity and safety of the experience.
This offering is best suited for those who are open to being part of a community-based learning environment, and who understand that while the ceremony is held with care, it is not a substitute for medical or therapeutic treatment.
You are invited to come as you are, to sit in presence, and to participate in a simple, grounded experience with the medicine, held in respect, humility, and care.
Please reserve your spot mindfully and commit to the time, as spaces are limited based on the number of trainees we are supporting in this container. If you are unable to attend, please cancel ahead of time and let us know so we can offer your place to another community member who would like to sit.
