Clothing Swap

Come join us for a fun evening of swapping clothes with your fellow fashion enthusiasts at the Gore Meadows Community Centre & Library! This will be a great way to refresh your wardrobe without spending a dime. You never know what treasures you might find! Bring your gently used clothing items and accessories to trade with others. Note, we will not be accepting swimsuits, undergarments, or pyjamas.

This event will take place in the Community Room 2.

What to expect:

1. Check in with your name at the entrance.

2. Drop off up to 10 items of preloved clothing/accessories. Items must be clean, folded and in good condition.

3. Swap and Shop: Browse the racks and tables for pieces you love. Take home items you like – we encourage you to take the same quantity as you brought.

4. Repair & Upcycle: Learn about and get hands-on in learning how to repair and upcycle clothing items you have found at the swap. There will also be material available to create something with a sewing machine.

Any remaining clothing will be responsibly donated.
