About this Event

Do you regularly support a friend, family member, neighbour, or someone else?
If you help someone with their daily life, these FREE Breath Body Mind sessions are for you.


Course details
This is a 6-week course.
It runs on the follwing dates and times:

  • Thursday 17 September from 2pm-4pm
  • Thursday 24 September from 2pm-4pm
  • Thursday 1 October from 2pm-4pm
  • Thursday 8 October from 2pm-4pm
  • Thursday 15 October from 2pm-4pm
  • Thursday 22 October from 2pm-4pm

Each session lasts two hours.



What is Breath Body Mind?

Breath Body Mind uses simple breathing and movement to support your mental health.
It can help you:

  • feel calmer
  • reduce stress and anxiety
  • sleep better
  • increase your energy

What happens in the sessions?

You’ll join a small, friendly group led by a trained Breath Body Mind teacher.
You’ll learn easy breathing and movement exercises that help you relax and feel more in control.
There is time to chat and ask questions.
You’ll also get resources to use at home.



Who can join?

You’re welcome if you support someone because of frailty, illness, disability, addiction, autism, or another condition.
No previous experience is needed.
This course runs online and is open to people in York and the surrounding areas.
