“Frederick Douglass: The Making of an American" | Lead Toledo Series

The Institute of American Constitutional Thought & Leadership (IACTL) will host Professor Lucas Morel from Washington and Lee University to offer a public lecture titled “Frederick Douglass: The Making of an American.” This is a fitting time to celebrate Douglass, who was born on February 14, 1818 and died on February 20, 1895. We hope to make this the first of an annually recurring “Frederick Douglass Day” addresses that will commemorate the contributions of Douglass and other statesmen like him.
