Objectives
Tackle the Stigma of Mental “Weakness
Increase awareness of mental health challenges faced by student-athletes, normalizing conversations around mental well-being and reducing the stigma.
Provide Resources for the Whole Athlete
Provide student-athletes parents and coaches with practical tools, resources, and strategies to support both physical and mental health in today’s sports culture.
Strengthen Parent-Athlete & Coach-Athlete Relationships
Educate parents & coaches on the mental health challenges their student-athletes face and provide strategies for effective communication, support, and encouragement. Provide guidance on navigating the transition out of high school and/or high school sports.
Empower Future Leaders
Inspire student-athletes to become advocates for mental health within their teams, schools, future employers, and communities.
Foster a Supported Community of Connection within Competition
Create a sense of community among athletes, parents, and coaches that increase social emotional skills and empathy.

Jonelle and her team expands their licensed mental health expertise to consulting, coaching and training leaders, corporations, and organizations through improving systems and team culture within a comprehensive framework of emotional agility, psychological safety and empathy.
Meet the Founder PCAN - Aubrey Massey
PCAN (Person-Centered Athletic Network) was founded by Aubrey in order to create a safe space where she and other student athletes can gain confidence to openly discuss their mental health concerns, and learn more about how to “cope & compete” without fear or embarrassment.
