About this Event

Volunteers will plant native wildflowers to create habitat for pollinators like butterflies, bees, and birds.

Help us make the Fletchers Creek SNAP neighbourhood more sustainable and ready for a changing climate. This event is part of Fletchers Creek Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Plan (SNAP).

Location:

Meet us at Fred Kline Park. Parking is available.

What to Wear and Bring:

  • For your safety, wear a hat, long pants, long socks (to tuck your pants into) and closed-toed shoes.
  • This is a rain-or-shine event. Please dress for the weather.
  • Your own reusable water bottle (we have water to refill from).
  • Sunscreen and bug spray.

Additional Information:

  • Please arrive on time.
  • Registration is recommended.
  • Washroom amenities are be available.
  • Volunteers under 18 please bring a signed copy of our waiver, or bring your parent/guardian to sign you in at the event.
  • Volunteers over 18 please read the event waiver. You will sign this at the event.
  • Participants collecting volunteer hours please notify staff at the event.
